Jacqueline Cassell has had a passion for drumming ever since she was young, and after over five years of hard work and dedication, Jacqueline’s channel has received well over 5 million views, and continues to rapidly grow.
It all began when Jacqueline was merely 14 years old. Despite not having any kind of a past musical background or any formal training in the field, she displayed an exceptional sense of rhythm and attraction towards percussion, specifically drums. Inspired by other well known drummers of the current time, Jacqueline decided to start recording her own drum covers shortly after taking only a few lessons. She decided to post them to the popular video hosting website, Youtube. Jacqueline was one of the first few female drummers to make an impact and quickly began to catch viewers’ attention.
Shortly after her start on Youtube, Jacqueline’s natural display of talent landed her an endorsement offer from SJC Custom Drums. Through SJC, Jacqueline had the privilege to attend The NAMM Convention (National Association of Music Merchants) which opened many doors for her drumming career. This is where Jacqueline was introduced to TRX cymbals. Shortly after signing a deal with TRX, Jacqueline was featured in an ad in ModernDrummer Magazine alongside two fellow Youtube stars, Cobus Potgieter & Chase Whitney for the premiere of TRX’s new Youtube Channel and cymbal line. In June 2011, Jacqueline officialy joined the Vater Percussion family. This is one of Jacqueline’s greatest accomplishments to date, as Vater is one of the leading drumstick companies in the world. In February 2012, Jacqueline was then featured in DRUM! magazine alongside various female drummers for Vater Drumsticks.
In her spare time, while away from school, Jacqueline is quite involved with her church. Although drumming is her forte, helping out the community, and her passion to spread the love of Christ is clearly most important.
